Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using the Dinspired app. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Tethered Tech, LLC (“Tethered Tech,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a limited liability company registered in the State of Florida, governing your use of the Dinspired mobile application and any related services (collectively, the “App”). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you confirm you are at least 18 years of age and agree to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

Dinspired is a personalized dinner decision assistant that helps users answer the question “What should I make for dinner?” The App uses AI to generate personalized dinner recipes based on user preferences including household size, dietary preferences, favorite cuisines, food allergies, disliked ingredients, cooking skill level, and preferred cooking time. Features include AI recipe generation, mood-based recipe filtering, recipe detail views, saved recipes, shopping list generation, pantry tracking with “Use What I Have” recipe recommendations, and user profile management. Dinspired is intended for personal meal planning and inspiration purposes only and is not a substitute for professional nutritional or dietary advice.

3. Subscriptions and Billing

Access to Dinspired requires an active paid subscription. The following plans are available:

  • Monthly Plan: $3.99 per month, billed monthly
  • Annual Plan: $29.99 per year, billed annually

 

All new subscribers receive a 3-day free trial. No charge is made during the trial period. At the end of the trial your selected plan begins and your payment method is charged automatically.

Auto-Renewal Notice: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your Apple ID or Google Play account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. Manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your App Store or Google Play account settings.

All payments are processed through Apple In-App Purchase (iOS) or Google Play Billing (Android). Tethered Tech, LLC does not directly handle or store payment card information. Refunds are governed by Apple’s and Google’s respective refund policies.

4. Free Trial Terms

The 3-day free trial is available to new subscribers only. One free trial per Apple ID or Google Play account. If you cancel before the trial ends you will not be charged. If you do not cancel before the trial ends your subscription will begin automatically and your payment method will be charged.

5. User Accounts

You must create an account to use Dinspired. You agree to provide accurate information during registration and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You may not share your account or use another person’s account without permission. Tethered Tech, LLC reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

6. AI-Generated Content

Dinspired uses artificial intelligence to generate personalized dinner recipes based on your preferences and mood selections. AI-generated content is for personal meal planning and entertainment purposes only. Tethered Tech, LLC makes no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, nutritional completeness, safety, or suitability of any AI-generated recipe. Always use your own judgment when preparing food, particularly regarding allergies, dietary restrictions, and food safety. The App is not a substitute for professional nutritional or medical advice.

7. Dietary and Allergy Disclaimer

While Dinspired allows users to input dietary preferences and food allergies to filter recipe recommendations, the App cannot guarantee that all suggested recipes are free from every allergen or entirely consistent with every dietary requirement. Always review recipe ingredients carefully before preparing any meal. Tethered Tech, LLC is not responsible for any adverse reactions, allergic responses, or health events resulting from meals prepared using Dinspired recommendations.

8. Shopping List and Pantry Features

The Shopping List and Pantry features are provided as personal organizational tools. Shopping lists are generated based on recipe ingredients and are provided for convenience only. Tethered Tech, LLC does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or pricing of any shopping list generated by the App. Users are responsible for verifying ingredients and quantities before shopping or cooking.

9. Push Notifications

Dinspired may send optional push notifications including dinner suggestion reminders and grocery reminders. Push notifications require your explicit permission, requested within the App with a clear explanation before any notifications are sent. You may opt out at any time through your device’s system notification settings without affecting your ability to use any App features.

10. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the App to:

  • Attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or interfere with the App or its backend systems
  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws
  • Submit false or misleading information during account creation or onboarding
  • Attempt to circumvent any subscription billing or access paid features without a valid subscription

11. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. Tethered Tech, LLC does not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Tethered Tech, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time using the Delete Account feature in the App. All your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days. Tethered Tech, LLC reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms without notice.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Florida.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the effective date and where appropriate by sending a notification through the App. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
