Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of MyGoodDay (published as MyGoodDay: Mood & Habits), made by Tethered Tech, LLC. By downloading or using the app, you agree to them.

01. The service

MyGoodDay is a personal dashboard for daily mood check-ins, a gratitude/wins journal, and habit streaks, with optional reminder notifications to help you stay consistent. It's meant to help you build small, positive habits — it is not a medical, mental health, or therapy service, and it doesn't provide professional, financial, legal, or clinical advice of any kind. If you're in crisis or need support beyond what a habit app can offer, please reach out to a licensed professional or local emergency services.

02. Notifications

MyGoodDay may ask your device for permission to send reminder notifications. These are optional — you can decline the permission prompt or turn reminders off anytime in your device's Settings, and doing so doesn't limit your use of any other feature.

03. Eligibility

You must be able to form a binding contract in your location to use MyGoodDay, and the app is not directed at children under 13. If you're using MyGoodDay on behalf of a minor between 13 and the age of majority, you're confirming you have the appropriate permission to do so.

SUBSCRIPTIONS

04. Free trial, billing & cancellation

  • MyGoodDay offers a 3-day free trial, after which your selected plan (Monthly at $4.99, or Annual at $29.99) begins billing automatically.
  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase, and subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Manage or cancel anytime in your device's App Store account settings — canceling stops future charges but doesn't refund the current period.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies; request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
  • If you cancel or your trial ends without subscribing, your account reverts to the free tier — anything you created stays saved, just locked until you upgrade again.

 

05. Your content

You own what you write in MyGoodDay — your journal entries and habits, stored locally on your device. By using the app, you give us permission to send the relevant parts of that content to our AI provider solely to generate your Daily Progress Insight, as described in our Privacy Policy.

06. AI-generated content

Your Daily Progress Insight is generated by AI based on your recent activity. It's meant to be encouraging and reflective, not a factual claim, professional advice, or a guarantee about outcomes.

07. Acceptable use

Please don't use MyGoodDay to attempt to disrupt the service, reverse-engineer it, or input content that's unlawful, abusive, or infringes someone else's rights. We may suspend access for accounts that misuse the service.

08. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

MyGoodDay is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tethered Tech, LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited under applicable law.

09. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the app evolves. If we make a material change, we'll update the date above — continuing to use MyGoodDay after that means you accept the revised terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
